Orchids and Keegan

When you live near to the largest outdoor market in Asia, or so it is claimed, then there is always something you can spend your money on unnecessarily.

Today, I bought a pair of Vanda Orchids which you can see in the picture and it is now my challenge to try to keep them alive on my balcony, which probably won't be easy as orchids can be sensitive fellows, according to those in the 'know'.

In a totally unrelated incident early this week, we saw the return of 'King Kevin' to the Toon Army helm. Apparently this came as a bit of a shock as it seemed our, 'Kev' was perfectly content running a soccer 'Circus' up in Glasgow or somewhere. I suppose a few million quid a year must of tempted the Scunthorpe native away from the dwarves and llamas.

Keegan incidentally translates in Laotian as 'Khee Ghan' or 'hard shit' which is what it'll be if Newcastle invariably go on to continue their miserable form this season.

I personally, would, 'luv it'!
