Best Before - the bushpilots
Man has survived for thousands of years without sell-by dates
Take the chance, no consequence, don't hesitate
You can't go on, forever checking the ingredients
Listen to us,take the chance, you know we're making sense
But don't come running to me
When you're wasting away with dysentery
And don't even call me up
When your brain is fried and your nerves are shot
Man has survived for thousands of years without sell-by dates
Take the chance, no consequence, don't hesitate
You can't go on, forever checking the ingredients
Listen to us, take the chance, you know we're making sense
And don't put the blame on me
When you suddenly develop epilepsy
You'll be turning in your grave, young fella
When the tag on your toe reads 'salmonella'
Man will survive for a thousands more years without sell-by dates
Take the chance, no consequence, don't hesitate
You can't go on, forever checking the ingredients
Listen to us,take the chance, you know we're making sense
When you wake up on a table with a blood transfusion
So don't ever turn my way
You knew the risks I've got nothing to say

This was bound to happen. The Bushpilots was always one of those bands, ahead of its time, so misunderstood, that gets rediscovered in subsequent years and at long last receives rightful recognition as belonging to the upper most pantheon of rock gods, as well as being generally accepted as being the greatest influence on any and all bands that came after....
It is great to see these works of rock heaven resurrected. Will they be re-mastered? Re-arranged? (I know Dan has always wanted to do re-work some of his more left-field stuff with the London Philharmonic) We have been masturbating feverishly since last week in anticipation of news of reforming and world tours…………
Keep spankin' that Monkey, 'Ed. It's coming - we promise!
